My Story
Tired of the cold, I sought adventure and a year-round active life in Northern Arizona, moving from Wisconsin in 2022. My hope was to find a supportive community and stunning natural beauty to explore.
Fast forward three years: my life here is rich with discovery, vibrant friendships, and a profound connection to this incredible and surprising desert lifestyle. I've embraced every chance, met wonderful people, and truly found my stride in the Arizona sun.
Red Rock Roadrunner Lifestyle is my passion project, born from a desire to help you unlock the same joy. I share curated insights, adventures, and resources for cultivating a fulfilling, active, and social life across the Verde Valley, Coconino National Forest, Tonto National Forest, Prescott, and Prescott Valley.

About the Roadrunner
The roadrunner, for me, is more than just a fascinating bird; it's a vibrant, living symbol of the wild, untamed spirit of Northern Arizona. Every glimpse is a thrill—a flash of dynamic energy across the desert landscape.
These remarkable creatures are celebrated for their incredible speed, easily outpacing humans, as well as their sheer bravery and endurance (they're even known to dispatch rattlesnakes!). Deeply rooted in Southwest lore, Hopi mythology reveres the roadrunner as a protector against evil spirits, and it's widely considered good luck to cross paths with one.
While I firmly believe we often forge our own luck through determination and exploration, I'm certainly never one to turn down a little extra blessing from the universe. The roadrunner truly embodies the adventurous, resilient, and lucky spirit I can get behind.
